What is an Athlete Injury Passport?

An Athlete Injury Passport, is a centralized portable digital history of all the injuries of an athlete across all clubs and all sports, across their entire sporting life. It removes the fragmented and localised records that allow athletes, coaches and trainers a holistic view of the athlete.

Key Features

- Centralised History: a single, unified record of past sprains, strains, broken bones and concussions, regardless of what sports they were playing or clubs they played for

- Concussions: All concussion assessments recorded in one place, regardless of the pass/fail outcome. Tracks concussions at the athlete level and not the sporting code, so multiple concussions across different sporting codes are identified and managed accordingly.

- Portability: The Athlete Injury Passport follows the athlete between clubs and sports, including carnivals and representative programs.

- Continuity of Care: provide medical professionals insights into reinjury risks and recovery issues.

Benefits the Athlete Welfare

- Safer Decisions: prevents athletes from being transparent with their past injuries, that may impact their recovery on their current injury.

- Risk Reduction: risks are lower of re-injury through premature return to train/play.

- Digital Access: Injuries are recorded against the athlete record, owned and managed by the athlete. Not held in a club database/paper form which they don’t have access to.

AthHQ provides the athlete with an “Athlete Injury Passport”.
